Radiant-Circle

was a craft faction, invented in 2000. The work was commissioned by Sarah Cook as part of the Use nor Ornament show at The Northern Gallery of Contemporary Art.

The faction were concerned with the action of framing the face or disguising the face depending on the political context. Their main reason for coming together though was to encourage people to make their own clothes. They explained wool as an allegorical political structure and demonstrated how to crochet the geurilla balaclava.

The radiant circle homepage represented the first online work McIntosh ever devised. It fell apart. These are the relics.
